The TXS-55 is a compact CATV and SAT-IF fiber optic transmitter designed to carry broadband RF signals over single-mode fiber. It supports a frequency range from 47 MHz to 2400 MHz, making it suitable for combined cable television and satellite intermediate-frequency distribution.

The transmitter provides a 1550 nm optical output with 3 mW optical power. Selectable 13/18 V DC and 0/22 kHz control are available through the RF input port, with a maximum current of 500 mA for satellite LNB applications. Its compact housing, low-noise design and stable RF performance make it suitable for SMATV, headend, hospitality and multi-dwelling distribution systems.

Selectable LNB Power and Control

TXS-55 provides four selectable LNB control modes through two onboard switches, allowing the required voltage and tone combination to be configured for different satellite reception conditions.
